Doris Wishman

Doris Wishman (1912–2002, United States) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She is best known for directing over 20 low-budget sexploitation films, including nudie-cuties and roughies, during the 1960s and 1970s, often under pseudonyms such as Louis Silverman. Wishman gained a cult following posthumously for her distinctive, improvisational style and innovative use of sound design in the exploitation genre.
