Edward Ludwig

Edward Ludwig (1898–1982, United States) was an American film director and screenwriter. Active from the 1920s through the 1960s, he helmed over 50 feature films and television episodes, often in the Western and adventure genres, including notable works like “The Last Command” (1955) and the TV series “The Lone Ranger” (1956–1957). Ludwig’s career highlighted his versatility in B-movies and collaborations with stars such as John Wayne and Errol Flynn.
