Frank Lloyd

Frank Lloyd (1886–1960, United Kingdom/United States) was a British-born American film director. He directed more than 120 films during a career spanning from the silent era to the 1950s, earning three Academy Awards for Best Director for The Divine Lady (1929), Cavalcade (1933), and Mutiny on the Bounty (1935). Lloyd’s work often featured historical dramas and adaptations, contributing significantly to early Hollywood prestige pictures.
