Franz Antel

Franz Antel (1910–2006, Austria) was an Austrian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He directed more than 160 films from the 1940s to the 1990s, specializing in comedies, musicals, and erotic films, often collaborating with actors like Peter Weck and Hans Moser. Antel is remembered for his contributions to Austrian cinema, including popular titles such as *Spitalfieber* (1958) and *Die lustigen Weiber von Wien* (1967).
