Giorgio Simonelli

Giorgio Simonelli (1919–2007, Italy) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and actor. He began his career in the 1940s and directed over 20 films, primarily light comedies in the 1950s and 1960s, often featuring stars like Totò and Ugo Tognazzi. His work contributed to the popular Italian cinematic tradition of humorous, character-driven stories during the post-war era.
