Harald Philipp

Harald Philipp (1900–1980, Germany) was a German film director, actor, and screenwriter. He began his career as an actor in the 1920s before transitioning to directing, helming over 30 films from 1937 to 1963, primarily comedies, crime dramas, and musicals such as *Die unentschuldigte Stunde* (1937) and *Das Mädchen mit den zwanzig Sternen* (1955). Philipp contributed to the popular German cinema of the pre- and post-war eras, often collaborating with stars like Hans Söhnker and Marika Rökk.
