Henri Diamant-Berger

Henri Diamant-Berger (1891–1982, France) was a French film director, producer, and screenwriter active from the silent era through the mid-20th century. He gained prominence for directing adaptations of classic literature, including the 1921 silent serial “Les Trois Mousquetaires” (The Three Musketeers) and the 1933 sound version. Diamant-Berger also contributed to early French cinema as a pioneer in film production techniques and later directed television adaptations in the postwar period.
