John English

John English (1903–1969, United States) was an American film director, editor, and second-unit director. He specialized in B-westerns and action serials, directing over 100 films primarily for Republic Pictures, including entries in the Three Mesquiteers and Rough Riders series. English often collaborated with William Witney on high-energy action sequences and transitioned to television directing in the 1950s.
