Katja Von Garnier

Katja von Garnier (1966–Present, Germany) is a German film director and screenwriter who gained early recognition with her award-winning short feature *Abgeschminkt!* (Making Up!) in 1993. She is known for directing films such as *Bandits* (1997), the American television film *Iron Jawed Angels* (2004), and the family adventure film *Ostwind* (Windstorm, 2013) and its sequels.
