Mario Costa

Mario Costa (1904–1995, Italy) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and actor. He directed more than 20 films between 1938 and 1978, often working in genres such as comedy and drama, with notable works including *La freccia nel fianco* (1943) and *Fifa e arena* (1958). Costa’s career spanned the height of Italian cinema’s post-war era, contributing to the nation’s prolific film industry through his versatile roles in front of and behind the camera.
