Maurice Lehmann

Maurice Lehmann (1895–1974, France) was a French theatre director and producer who also worked in film. He directed the acclaimed 1950 adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s “La Ronde,” starring Simone Signoret and Gérard Philipe, and produced several other films during the post-war era. His contributions bridged theatre and cinema, enhancing French cultural productions through innovative staging and collaborations.
