Norman Ferguson

Norman Ferguson (1902–1957, United States) was an American animator and director best known for his work at Walt Disney Studios. He pioneered expressive animation techniques, notably in animating Pluto and the Oscar-winning short “Ferdinand the Bull” (1937), which he directed. Ferguson’s contributions helped define the “personality animation” style central to Disney’s Golden Age of Animation.
