Sergio Corbucci

Sergio Corbucci (1926–1990, Italy) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He gained prominence in the Spaghetti Western genre, directing influential films such as Django (1966) and The Great Silence (1968), known for their gritty violence and anti-hero protagonists. Corbucci’s work helped define the Euro-Western style and earned him a lasting legacy in Italian cinema.
