The Story:

But passion ignites betrayal as Mila (Claudine Dupuis), Mendi’s devoted girlfriend, succumbs first to José’s allure, then to the seductive whispers of the cabaret’s enigmatic director Mendoza (Pierre Renoir), leaving José to seek solace in the arms of the club’s alluring owner, Luisa Heim, while the orchestra unwittingly stumbles upon the cabaret’s dark secret—a ruthless international drug ring using broadcast melodies as coded signals for clandestine shipments.
