The Story:
In the swinging late 1960s, middle-class Schwabing resident Augustin “Gustl” Wohlfahrt [Mario Adorf] enjoys a harmonious marriage with his beautiful wife Helene [Gila von Weitershausen], complete with Kamasutra adventures, yet succumbs to the era’s erotic obsessions fueled by magazines and talk of liberation.
Convinced he must host a wild orgy to join the revolution, Gustl pressures Helene into advertising for swingers, only to be rushed to the hospital on the night of the party due to a medical scare.
Breaking out in jealous frenzy, Gustl returns to a chaotic apartment and discovers the harsh reality of his fantasies, nearly losing his idyllic domestic life in this biting satirical comedy on bourgeois fixations.
