The Story:
In the rainy streets of Munich, lonely widow Emmi Kurowski, a humble cleaning lady, seeks shelter in a bar of migrant workers, where a chance dance with the young Moroccan guest worker Ali sparks an unlikely friendship that leads him to her home and, impulsively, to marriage, defying all odds in a world of prejudice.
