The Story:
In the grim shadows of Nazi Germany, a train rattles toward a foreboding castle-turned high-security SS concentration camp, carrying a cargo of terrified young women destined for unspeakable fates; upon arrival, they endure a humiliating processing where the most alluring, like the defiant aristocrat Tania Nobel (Lina Polito), are selected for the infamous “Joy Division” to serve as playthings for SS officers, while others face medical experiments or brutal labor as “field whores” under the watchful eyes of sadistic guards.
The camp’s tyrannical commandant, Herr Erner (John Steiner), a man of eccentric cruelty, seizes upon Tania’s presence with vengeful glee, for she once spurned his pre-war affections; determined to shatter her spirit and claim her as his personal concubine, he unleashes tortures and abuses, but Tania cleverly shifts from starvation resistance to feigned passion, biding her time amid the camp’s horrors—including rampant sexual violations by male guards and lesbian wardens, a tragic lovers’ cyanide suicide after a forced public spectacle, and whispers of rebellion from fellow inmates and a remorseful Austrian doctor plotting escapes.
