The Story:
In 1980s Berlin successful crime novelist Bert Leitner (Helmut Fischer) neglects wife Conny (Uschi Glas) and their children while prowling bars for authentic research material until Conny files for divorce and relocates to Munich.
While Bert chases hollow thrills in Ibiza Conny mistakes charming teacher Frank Müller (Thomas Gottschalk) for a carpenter and he plays along sparking a whirlwind of misunderstandings as Bert returns determined to reclaim his family.
