The Story:
In the shadowed realms of ancient China, the legendary One-Armed Boxer Yu Tianlong (Jimmy Wang Yu), hero of fierce battles past, lives in quiet exile until vengeance stirs the winds of fate: a blind Tibetan lama and imperial assassin, Fung Sheng Wu Chi, learns his two disciples fell to Yu’s unyielding fists and swears to behead every one-armed warrior with his infernal flying guillotine—a razor-edged hat on a deadly chain.
As the assassin prowls with unholy precision, a grand kung fu tournament erupts nearby, drawing warriors from distant lands: the stretch-limbed Indian Fakir with arms like serpents, the barefoot Thai Boxer of iron kicks, and the treacherous Japanese Karate master hiding blades in his tonfa; Yu Tianlong watches from the shadows, but chaos descends when the blind killer crashes the fray, severing heads and slaying the host in a spray of crimson, zeroing in on his true prey.
With guillotine’s reach defying fair combat, the clever Boxer turns the tide through cunning traps—luring foes to a scorching metal floor, snaring the weapon in bamboo webs, and culminating in a coffin shop symphony of whistling birds, spring-loaded axes, and fatal ingenuity—where one arm proves mightier than blind fury in this pulse-pounding wuxia whirlwind of martial mayhem and righteous retribution!
