The Story:
In the shadowed mists of 18th-century Transylvania, the hideous witch Bardella (Barbara Steele) is captured by vengeful villagers and drowned in a cursed lake, her dying curse promising a return from the grave to unleash unholy terror on their descendants—two centuries later, British newlyweds Philip (Ian Ogilvy) and Veronica (Barbara Steele) arrive in the eerie village of Vaubrac for a honeymoon, only to crash their car into the very lake where the witch met her watery end.
As Veronica emerges from the wreckage transformed into a snarling, bloodthirsty she-beast driven by the witch’s vengeful spirit, Philip teams with the enigmatic Count von Helsing (John Karlsen), a descendant of the famed vampire hunter, and the sleazy innkeeper Ladislav (Mel Welles) to perform a desperate exorcism amid rampaging attacks that turn the peaceful village into a slaughterhouse of ripped limbs and crimson horror.
Dare you witness the resurrection of evil in this spine-chilling shocker, where beauty becomes the beast and the past claws its way back to claim the living in a frenzy of supernatural fury and forbidden rites under the full moon’s malevolent gaze?
