The Story:
In the sun-baked sprawl of San Pedro, California, the Wild Angels motorcycle gang roars to life under the iron-fisted leadership of Heavenly Blues (Peter Fonda), a rebel without a cause, and his loyal comrade Joe “Loser” Kearns (Bruce Dern), as they tear through the highways in a quest for unbridled freedom and reckless abandon.
A brutal clash with a rival gang ignites a fiery shootout with the law, leaving Loser mortally wounded; the Angels storm the hospital in a desperate bid to free him, but his inevitable death sparks a profane, drug-laced funeral orgy that erupts into savage chaos, desecrating all in its path.
As the dust settles on the wreckage of their wild dreams, Blues stands alone amidst the ruins, confronting the hollow void of a life on the run with no destination, in this pulse-pounding tale of biker brotherhood gone berserk—directed by Roger Corman, a 1966 shocker that captures the raw fury of the open road!
