Ann Rutherford
Ann Rutherford (1917–2012, Canada/United States) was an American actress renowned for her supporting roles in classic Hollywood films. She gained prominence as Polly Benedict in the Andy Hardy series opposite Mickey Rooney and as Carreen O’Hara, Scarlett’s sister, in Gone with the Wind (1939). Rutherford also starred in numerous Westerns and musicals for studios like MGM and RKO during the 1930s and 1940s, later transitioning to television appearances in her later years.
