George Maharis

George Maharis (1928–2024, United States) was an American actor best known for his role as Buz Murdock on the CBS television series Route 66 from 1960 to 1963. He appeared in films such as Sylvia (1965), The Satan Bug (1965), and The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982), as well as guest-starring on shows like The Twilight Zone and Mission: Impossible. In later years, Maharis transitioned to a career as a painter and photographer, exhibiting his work in galleries.
