Gordon Mitchell

Gordon Mitchell (1923–2002, United States) was an American actor and bodybuilder who became a prominent figure in Italian B-movies during the 1960s and 1970s. He starred in over 200 films, primarily in the peplum, spaghetti western, and sword-and-sandal genres, often playing muscular heroes or villains alongside stars like Steve Reeves and Alan Steel. Mitchell’s career began in Hollywood but flourished in Europe, where his imposing physique and action-hero persona made him a staple of low-budget exploitation cinema.
