Herbert Lom

Herbert Lom (1917–2012, Czechoslovakia/United Kingdom) Herbert Lom was a Czech-born British actor who appeared in more than 100 films over a career spanning six decades. He is best known for his role as the exasperated Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus in six of the Pink Panther films, including A Shot in the Dark (1964) and The Return of the Pink Panther (1975), opposite Peter Sellers. Lom also gained acclaim for his performances in Ealing Studios classics such as The Ladykillers (1955) and Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), showcasing his versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles.
