Hermann Lause

Hermann Lause (1925–1990, Germany) Hermann Lause was a German actor renowned for his contributions to East German theater and film during the post-World War II era. He was a prominent member of the Berliner Ensemble under Bertolt Brecht and appeared in DEFA productions such as *Käuzchenkuhle* (1953) and *Der schweigende Stern* (1960). His versatile performances in both stage and screen roles made him a key figure in the cultural landscape of the German Democratic Republic.
