Marino Girolami

Marino Girolami (1914–1990, Italy) was an Italian film director, actor, and producer active primarily in the mid-20th century. He directed over 50 films, including spaghetti westerns like *Johnny Yuma* (1966) and *Blood at Sundown* (1966), often using the pseudonym Franco Martinelli to distinguish his work from that of his son, director Enzo G. Castellari. Girolami’s contributions helped shape the Italian genre cinema boom of the 1960s and 1970s, blending action, horror, and exploitation elements.
