Maurice Cloche

Maurice Cloche (1906–1990, France) was a French film director and screenwriter. He directed more than 30 films between 1937 and 1983, often focusing on historical and biographical subjects. His 1947 film Monsieur Vincent won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
