The Story:
In a desperate bid for freedom, rugged drifter Steve Daley (Guy Madison) is coerced into marrying fiery fur trader Cheyenne O’Malley (Rhonda Fleming) by the scheming Judge Carr, only to face betrayal as the judge hires slow-witted gunman “Slow” Karp (James Griffith) to eliminate him post-wedding; with the aid of loyal sidekick Podo (Dan Sheridan), Daley escapes and learns of Cheyenne’s vast wealth from rival trader John Parnell (Peter Adams), who captures him and plots to use the marriage for a forced business merger.
Defying expectations, Daley pursues Cheyenne’s wagon train to assert his husbandly rights and seize control of her empire, sparking a tempestuous clash where the independent Cheyenne fiercely resists, unleashing her bullwhip in a whirlwind confrontation that tests their forced union amid Parnell’s manipulations and Karp’s duplicitous double-dealing for both judge and rival.
