Hans Peter Hallwachs

Hans Peter Hallwachs (1938–2022, Germany) was a German actor and director with a prolific career in film, television, and theater spanning over six decades. He gained early recognition for his role in the 1959 war drama “Die Brücke” (The Bridge), directed by Bernhard Wicki, and went on to appear in more than 100 films and TV series, including notable works like “Der Untermieter” (1962) and “Tatort” episodes. Hallwachs was awarded the German Film Prize in 1973 for his performance in “Der plötzliche Reichtum der armen Leute von Kombach” and remained active until his later years.
