The Story:
In WWII Yugoslavia, a captured Allied courier holding secret Balkan invasion plans is imprisoned in a Nazi fortress by courteous Rear Admiral Von Vogels, prompting a daring commando raid led by Lt. Bradford (Richard Conte) and Sgt. Sean McAfee (Rory Calhoun) who ally with local partisans to kidnap SS Colonel Streich for a high-stakes prisoner exchange.
Disguised as monks the team infiltrates the fort sparking a fierce shootout to abduct their prize but internal traitor Corporal Bell betrays them forcing Lt. Bradford and Sgt. McAfee to storm the secure villa amid mounting Nazi and partisan pressure.
