The Story:
In the quaint town of provincial France, the staid municipal brass band, led by the pompous Albert Gambier (Roland Armontel), holds sway over all musical affairs, until the arrival of the swinging jazz ensemble commanded by the charismatic Jacques Hélian (playing himself), igniting a battle of beats that shakes the community to its core.
As egos clash and rhythms collide, young drummer Jimmy (Jimmy Gaillard) finds himself caught in the crossfire, torn between the traditional march of Gambier’s fanfare and the infectious swing of Hélian’s hot jazz, leading to hilarious sabotage, secret rehearsals, and a showdown that promises to redefine the town’s soundtrack.
With toe-tapping tunes by Hubert Giraud, this merry musical melee bursts with laughter, lively dances, and the irresistible allure of music’s unifying magic—don’t miss the drumbeat duel that will have you humming long after the final crescendo!
