The Story:
In the bustling streets of post-war Paris, honest street vendor Prosper Bourrache (Roger Nicolas), gifted with an unerring silver tongue, finds himself in hot water when bumbling gangsters Gino (Louis de Funès) and Moustique mistake him for a master safecracker and drag him into their getaway car, fearing for his life, he plays along without a word of protest.
The trio targets the opulent mansion of corrupt banker Lafare (Jean Tissier) for a daring burglary, but unbeknownst to the hapless crooks, the whole scheme is an elaborate setup by the shady financier himself, plunging Prosper into a whirlwind of peril, chases, and double-crosses as he navigates the chaos with his quick wits.
